Forced Entry Testing (FE5 & FE15)

Our security doors and protective systems undergo standardized forced-entry testing designed to simulate real-world intrusion attempts using professional tools and aggressive attack methods.

FE5 – Residential Security Level

FE5 certification verifies that a door system can resist a sustained forced-entry attack using common burglary tools such as:

Crowbars
Hammers
Pry tools
Mechanical leverage tools

During testing, trained technicians attempt to breach the door within a defined time window while using a prescribed set of tools. To achieve certification, the door must prevent full penetration or opening of the protected area.

This level is typically specified for high-end residential properties seeking enhanced intrusion resistance.

FE15 – High Security Protection

FE15 represents a significantly higher level of protection and is designed for environments requiring extended resistance against determined attackers.

Testing includes:

Sustained attack attempts
Increased time requirements

FE15-rated systems are commonly specified for:

Safe room entrances
Panic rooms
High-value residences
Executive protection environments
